Sandra Ward: 389 Jefferson Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15228
Oil, Pen, Ink & Wash, Digital
I teach children and young adult in small class setting so that I can give each student as much individual attention as possible.
The classes are no more than 8 students at any time and I find this is a great asset in the development of the young artist.
The courses begin with the drawing basics using pencil and charcoal to learn about form, line and values to enable them to give
their work the look of 3 dimensions. The course progresses adding different media in conjunction with learning about the history of art.
I am a very experienced artist instructor having taught at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts , the conservatory of Music in Philadelphia,
McMurray art league, The Philadelphia School District and many others.
